| Study at D'Youville College
D’Youville College is located in Buffalo, New York, United States. It was established in the year 1908. The organization Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart, also known as GNSH, played a vital role in its establishment. D’Youville College was named in honor of their patron Saint Marie-Marguerite d’Youville. This was the first college that provided admission to women in western New York State. The college offers degrees and certificate programs in a number of areas including business management, information technology, nursing, health services administratio, and education. Students of D’Youville College have access to a wide variety of sports. Male students are involved in sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, cross country, golf and volleyball. Female students participate in golf, basketball, softball, soccer, and volleyball. D'Youville is located in Buffalo, NY (a large city). The school is a private, not-for-profit institution. The highest degree level offered by D'Youville is the Doctoral degree. The school is known for its programs in education and teaching and medical adminstration. D'Youville does not offer open admission. Three quarters of students in 2007 had SAT verbal scores of at least 450. Half of math SAT scores of accepted students fell between 450 and 560.
