Columbia Executive Education Programs Because spending two to 26 days at an executive education program requires an investment of scarce time and resources, our open programs are designed for maximum benefit to you and your organization. This portfolio of open programs addresses your most immediate executive development needs through a range of topics and scheduling options. Choosing the right program
Click Programs by Topic to view a detailed list of subject areas and core competencies for each program. Open programs are organized into three broad categories: leadership and strategy, marketing, and finance. Click Programs by Date to view a complete calendar of open programs for 2004. Defining your personal case Every open program in our portfolio uses an “action-learning” methodology that creates a direct link between the concepts learned and your individual business situation. Defining your case is often a component of pre-course work that you complete before the program begins. Once on site, faculty and peers provide coaching to help you develop and refine solutions to your case’s issues. Your personal case is an important tool that facilitates your implementation of key insights gained through the program.
Developing a learning community
