Study at Albany College of Pharmacy

 

The Albany College of Pharmacy is also known as Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The college is a private and independent institute of advanced health care. The college name is abbreviated as ACPHS. It was founded in 1881 as the Department of Pharmacy of Union University. The college offers specialized degree programs in pharmaceutical science, pharmacy, biomedical technology, health, and human sciences. Research degree programs are also available at ASPHS.

Students at ACPHS participate in a variety of sports. The college athletic teams are nicknamed The Panthers. The Panthers participate in football, swimming, lacrosse, baseball and track sports at the intercollegiate level. The college is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and the Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference. ACPHS provides financial aid to deserving students.
